Joining MJA in 2001, Mark's experiences has expanded to cover hospitality, medical, commercial, high end residential, multi-residential and warehouse/industrial projects. He is skilled across all stages of design, documentation and contract administration on projects. Dealing at either end of a project allows Mark to make informed decisions that follow through to a projects end with great benefit to his clients. He possesses a high level skillset at coordinating services and structure which has been developed from an interest in all areas of building.
His attention to detail coupled with a broad exposure to building sites and contracts ensures projects run smoothly and on time. Mark demands the best from both himself and his immediate team with the primary focus being the success of his client's completed project.
JIMMY THOMPSON |
James joined MJA as Creative Director in 2011 and has brought with him his passion for creating the best possible outcomes for the end user(s) of projects. James has a wide ranging experience from social housing to high end residential and resort accommodation, as well as in hospitality and aged care projects.
is responsible for all built form, live-ability and sustainability outcomes. Jimmy works tightly with Wes to ensure that the most efficient structural solutions and commercial nous can be balanced with design solutions which can respond to local context, heritage and environment in a way that incorporates a sense of whimsy and delight.
Jimmy firmly believes that strong commercial outcomes are not mutually exclusive to the aspirations of approving authorities and the amenity of the end users of Architecture. It is through this approach that has seen MJA consistently achieve greater yield on sites through demonstrable design excellence.

Wes has been an integral part of MJA since its inception in 1999. With a background spanning multi-residential, commercial, retail and retirement he is able to provide bespoke high quality solutions across a wide range of projects.
At MJA Wes specialises in providing initial concept schemes for complex urban sites, maximising efficiency and optimising design and commercial outcomes for his clients.
