The Jones residence takes full advantage of its dual access rear battleaxe lot, optimising solar penetration and ensuring a varied entry sequence for the visitor. The project utilises an operable northern facade and a series of full cover, partial cover and waterscaped lansdscaping areas to allow the user to control their environmental exposure and experience.
The Jones residence is a succinct Architectural composition of clean lines, low maintenance materials and lush complementary garden rooms reviving a memory of a youth spent fishing and crabbing on jetties in and around the Mandurah estuary and Serpentine river systems.
